Breast Cushions Project

Zonta Breast Cushions are provided as a community service, for women, after breast surgery.

The cushion is used for support while sleeping, protection while shopping or from pressure of a seat belt, and for comfort. Adelaide Torrens club make approximately 290 cushions each year and supply them to the Breast Clinic at Burnside hospital. Members run workshops periodically to fill, sew and wrap the cushions.

This project is supported financially by Community Grants from City of Burnside and Hilton Hemz contribute to the sewing.
