Our Guest Speaker for our Amelia Earhart Celebration was Kerrie Doherty. She was a fabulous speaker and she provided us with an amazing reflection on “Females of the Final Frontier.” Kerrie’s knowledge about all things “space” was extra-ordinary.
Kerrie is a space historian, curator, educator and author of “Australia in Space”. Formerly Curator of Space Technology at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, she has 35 years’ experience in communicating space to the public through museum exhibitions, outreach programs and writing for both popular and scholarly audiences.
